Hunter’s Point Campus

Tour this innovative new building, which houses multiple schools, with designers and project architects from FXFOWLE to see firsthand how they created distinct learning environments that allow each program to function independently, while sharing common resources. The project’s top floor is literally its crowning feature, with dining spaces located adjacent to a large outdoor terrace, affording sweeping views of Manhattan and the East River. Little Red School House and Elisabeth Irwin High School (LREI)

LREI’s expansion doubled the size of this high school on a very complex urban site with historical designation. Tour the school with Andrew Bartle Architects to learn about the development of the building from an inwardly focused diocese school to an outwardly focused “campus” for a private high school in a NYC landmark district. Museum of the City of New York

MCNY will offer two very special tours during OHNY Weekend! The Museum’s archivists will lead a tour of the Curatorial Center, including highlights from the Theater Collection and Manuscripts and Ephemera Collection. Ennead Architects will also give tours to provide an insider’s perspective into the comprehensive modernization and expansion of the museum’s historic parkside building.
