Information Hub Relocated to Neighborhood Preservation Center
With no end in sight for the federal government shutdown, OHNY is relocating the Weekend Information Hub from the Alexander Hamilton US Custom House/Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian to the Neighborhood Preservation Center at 232 East 11th Street at Second Avenue. The Information Hub will be open from 10 am-4 pm both days.

Federal Sites Closed for OHNY Weekend
Federally-operated sites originally scheduled to be open during OHNY Weekend will not be participating this year due to the government shutdown. The following sites will not be open this weekend:

•Alexander Hamilton US Custom House/Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian
Please note: This site was designated as the Weekend Information Hub. The new Information Hub will be at the Neighborhood Preservation Center at 232 East 11th Street.
•26 Federal Plaza
•African Burial Ground
•General Grant National Memorial “Tomb at Night Tour”
•Theodore Roosevelt Birthplace
•An Evening at Hamilton Grange National Memorial

Weather
A reminder that OHNY Weekend is rain or shine. Current predictions call for a 30% chance of rain on Saturday and 20% on Sunday. Sites and tours will go ahead rain or shine, so please plan accordingly.

Ways to Support OHNY Weekend
As a non-profit organization, OHNY depends on the support of people like you to keep the Weekend free and affordable. There are plenty of ways to support the Weekend, including:

OHNY Weekend Launch Party: Join us for beer, wine, and snacks and celebrate the start of the Weekend. The Launch Party is on Friday, October 11, from 7-9:30 at Superpier, 15th Street and Hudson River Park. Tickets are $75 and can be purchased here.
OHNY Raffles: Take your chances to win one or more of four private tours held later this fall for groups of two to six. Raffles include a tour of the construction site of Hudson Yards; a behind-the-scenes look at the revitalization of the Javits Center; a bird’s eye view of the Thanksgiving Day Parade; and a Mystery Tour! Reception and Film Screening: Close out your Weekend with a special reception and screening of the documentary My Brooklyn at Tribeca Cinemas, followed by a conversation. Organized in partnership with the Architecture and Design Film Festival. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased here.
