It’s hard to put much stock in forecasts given the inherent unpredictability of the weather lately, but forecasters are calling for rain of varying degrees (20-40%) this Weekend. Except in cases of extreme weather, OHNY Weekend is rain or shine. As always, keep an eye on Facebook and Twitter for updates. In the event that a tour is canceled, it will be posted here on the blog and on Facebook and Twitter.

Weekend Schedule Changes
Changes to the schedule not having to do with the weather will also continue to be posted on the blog and on Facebook and Twitter. There have been cancellations and time changes in the past few days. Click here for the latest updates, including a time change announced today for the Khouri Residence.

Launch Party
Time is running out to get tickets for tomorrow night’s Launch Party at Superpier. Proceeds go directly to helping support OHNY Weekend, so get your tickets today! Click here to purchase.

New Information Hub
A reminder that because of the federal government shutdown, the Weekend Information Hub has been relocated to the Neighborhood Preservation Center at 232 East 11th Street at Second Avenue. The hub will be open from 10 am–4 pm both days. Stop by if you want to speak to someone, pick up an event guide, or learn about what happens at the Neighborhood Preservation Center.

Focus on Architecture Competition
OHNY Weekend challenges you to look at the city in new ways and we want to see what you make of it. The Focus on Architecture Competition invites you to submit up to one photo in each of four categories (details, people, interior, exterior), which will be then juried by an esteemed group that includes Stanley Greenberg, Sean Hemmerle, Elliott Kaufman, and Erica Stoller. One grand prize winner will receive an iPad, courtesy of New York City Photo Safari, and, with permission, have their photo reproduced as a limited edition print for OHNY. One winner in each of the four categories will each receive a $100 gift certificate for a New York City Photo Safari Workshop. Find out more here.
